INIT was formed in 2003 by Patrick Lam and Terence Seah.

Patrick Lam MA AAdipl RIBA
Patrick studied at Cambridge University and the AA, London under Shin Egashira and Raoul Bunschoten. He has extensive experience in the fashion retail and commercial sector. Prior to setting up INIT, he has worked with Sheppard Robson (London), Rocco Design Limited and OMA Asia ( Hong Kong). During 2005 he was co-founder and Design Director of Formwork Limited before reforming the practice back as INIT in 2006. In his spare time, he attempts to compose electronic fugal music.
Terence Seah BA(NUS) AAdipl RIBA
Terence read at the National University of Singapore and the AA, London under Fashid Mossavi and Alejandro Zaera-Polo. He has worked for Foreign Office Architects and Allies & Morrison in London as well as MAPS in Singapore. He is currently on sabatical.
Kenneth Chia BArch
Kenneth studied architecture at RMIT, Australia. Upon graduation, he stayed on as a Architecture History tutor and did groundwork research on Robin Boyd, Roy Grounds, Frederick Romberg and Neil Clerehan for exhibitions and publications. After his stint in Melbourne, he has worked in Singapore and Shanghai prior to Joining INIT. He is a expert in fly-fishing.
Jim Tsang AIA NCARB
Jim has over 25 years of experience in the architecture field, having run award winnning practice Tsang Partnership in Seattle during the large part of his impressive career. Off the golf course, he has been the US Associate Architect to INIT since it's formation.
