INIT is a design studio for architecture and interiors based in Hong Kong, Shanghai and London.

Beyond form and function, our approach questions the basic make-up of urban typologies. If urbanism is actually about everyday lives and processes approximated by their operational fields, then through prototype making, cyclical testing and feedback we seek to induce change and innovation in the urban fabric. Every project is a prototype for change.

Since 2003 INIT has been working for international clients on retail, commercial and residential projects in Hong Kong and China.
